About the Court Grants Fund
Oklahoma District and Appellate Courts may apply annually for grant funding to assist with courtroom technology and needs relating to the administration of justice. An application for a Court Grant must be submitted by the Chief Judge of the Court.

The Court Grant Fund was established as a trust in 2008 through a cy pres award (distribution of unclaimed surplus funds in a class action case for public interest purposes). Since the establishment of the Court Grant Fund, the Foundation has provided funds to Courts across Oklahoma for critical needs such as:
- Digital court recording equipment
- Courtroom sound systems
- Courtroom evidence display equipment
- Wireless network technology for public use
- Video arraignment equipment
*The Court Grant Fund is not intended for use in funding major renovations to courthouses, courtrooms, labor costs or maintenance costs.
